Winnie is a beautiful, playful and sweet, 9 month old, 73lb, female yellow lab. Winnie is moderately active and energetic. She does well on leash and has learned some basic commands. Winnie is mostly house-trained and with some proper training/investment, she will make an INCREDIBLE dog as she wants to please and be the best girl!
Currently, she sleeps in a crate at night and does well when placed in the crate a couple times a during day. Her preference is to be out of the crate and with you. She will let you know by talking for a bit and will settle down comfortably.
Winnie is very comfortable and playful around other dogs and kids (foster home has two rowdy boys, 5 and 2 and one 6 year-old, male dog). Winnie is very affectionate and prefers to be with her humans and dog playmate, not alone.
Winnie will be the perfect addition to a loving family with someone who is home for most of the day and with another dog that she can play with and learn from! This girl will give you all her love and loyalty for many years to come. You can just tell she has a heart of gold and is ready to be with her furever family.
