Winnie is a gorgeous 6.5 year-old purebred chocolate lab. She loves her people, gets along great with her foster brothers and sisters, yet is perfectly content to receive all the love from her humans. She has now retired from her life of breeding and is ready to enjoy her golden years with her loving forever family. She loves to swim, curl up in a chair and receive hugs and pets from her humans at all times. She is extremely well mannered and gentle and would do well in a home with young kids or seniors. She is house trained, doggy-door trained, and walks well on a leash. She is also crate trained but does not need it because she is completely trustworthy when left alone. Her previous owner reports that Winnie is good with all cats but, while in foster, Winnie has not been exposed so we cannot confirm. Winnie's forever home would have someone willing to give her the attention she craves but doesn't demand and allow her the freedom to roam the house and maybe sleep on a couch or chair.
