Meet Venus!
Venus is a 6-month-old female yellow Lab with a heart as golden as her beautiful coat. Weighing around 40 pounds and still growing, this sweet girl is full of love, playful energy, and an eagerness to please.
Venus absolutely adores spending time with her people — especially kids! She’s currently living with a 2.5-year-old and a 6-year-old and is gentle, affectionate, and playful with them. She’s truly a wonderful family companion in the making.
Venus already knows how to sit and is working on mastering “stay.” She loves to fetch and would happily chase a ball as a fun way to burn off some of her puppy energy as well as wrestling with the resident dog! Like many young Labs, she’s still polishing her leash manners and would thrive with continued training and positive reinforcement. She’s also doing great with house training, with only a few minor accidents as she adjusts to a consistent routine.
At night, Venus settles down and sleeps soundly in her crate. During the day, she’s not the biggest fan of crating but is learning and improving with patience and practice. Smart, eager, and full of potential, Venus is ready for a forever family who will continue to guide and love her as she grows into the amazing dog she’s meant to be.
