Toby (6) is a 5-year-old Labrador Retriever with a big heart and classic sweet Lab velcro energy. He bonds deeply with his people and is happiest when he’s nearby, whether that’s snuggling on the couch, sleeping soundly in bed, or following you from room to room.
He’s affectionate and eager to please, and he thrives on connection and consistency. Toby loves tug-of-war and fetch, walks nicely on leash with light pulling, and knows sit, down, and paw (he’s working on “leave it”). He’s very enthusiastic about mealtime and does best with structure.
Toby could be an only pet or live with a confident canine companion. A cat-free home is recommended. An adopter willing to continue reinforcing structure and positive training will help him truly shine. Toby is not a fan of long car rides.
