Teva is an absolutely gorgeous 6 yr old, lab/golden retriever mix. She is a very loving girl who wants nothing more than to be the center of your attention to receive all the love and cuddles you can provide. She is relatively petite at about 65 lbs and has a beautiful solid black coat. She is perfectly behaved when left home alone, dog door trained, loves adults and kids and is extremely gentle. She is a bit timid and will often sleep under a bed if there is space but she comes out when called once she is comfortable in her environment. She's an excellent eater and has no food aggression. She previously lived a life where she was used for breeding and left outside but now she's living the retirement life she deserves and she is soaking it up! There are a few absolute MUSTS for Teva's forever home to ensure she can have the best life possible. She must be allowed on furniture as she wants to sit by your side while you watch tv or read and ideally, she must be allowed to sleep on the bed. She does not move around and is very calm but by allowing her to sleep on the bed this keeps her from hiding under it and makes her feel very special, which she is. She would do absolutely fine as an only dog but she doesn't mind other dog siblings as long as they are non-dominant as Teva is a lover, not a fighter.
