Meet this handsome big boy Stanley (his friends just call him Stan)! He is a chocolate lab mix, approximately 5-7 years old, weighing in at 88 pounds. Before coming to SOLR, Stan spent most of his time as an outdoor dog. He has easily adjusted to life indoors.
Stan is a smart dog who picks up routines quickly. He has had no accidents at his foster home. Stan plays gently with his much smaller foster brother and really enjoys his walks. His leash manners are quite good! He is showing some new interest in toys, especially chasing after a bouncing tennis ball. Stan is learning sit and a few hand signal commands. He would enjoy more training in his forever home. Stan has the "lab lean" down pat. He follows his people from room to room and is a great cuddle buddy! He will make a great addition to a family who will continue to work with his training and take him on the walks he loves each day. A big backyard would be great and we think he would enjoy a pool or water play. Does Stan sound like the chocolate boy for you?
