Are you looking for Lab love in a smaller package? Elsie might be on the smaller side at 8 months old and about 30 lbs, but that doesn't mean she's not full of love and energy. When going to SOLR events she is always eager to meet everyone there, keeping an eye out for the kids to show them how softly she takes a treat. In her foster home she has learned how great it is to have another dog to wrestle with when it's too hot to go outside, playing catch me going around a chair. Early mornings a game of fetch is always enjoyed, she just needs to work on the bring it back part (treats needed here).
Elsie would really like someone who can be home with her so she can come up and tap you with her paw for some pets. She's still gaining her confidence in life after being in a shelter and separated from her sister. A toy box is a must, she'll be going through it to choose the right one to toss around or that favorite bone to take to her bed and chew on. A yard with some grass or turf and shade to lie under would be perfect while she watches you go about outside chores.
Elsie is housebroken using the dog door, goes right into her crate at bedtime, but doesn't mind an afternoon nap on the bed with her foster dad. This sweet petite girl is just looking for a loving home and a lap to occasionally sit in. Could that be yours?
