Theo 3 is a yellow Labrador mix puppy who weighs 13 pounds and is approximately 4 months old. He has the usual puppy energy and is quickly learning his independence. He loves playing with toys, especially those that squeak, and his brother Button! He gets along with his foster mom's other dogs. He's learned that a Nylabone is fun to chew on! He is currently being housebroken, stays in a crate or exercise pen and absolutely LOVES the outdoors to explore! Theo loves to snuggle too!
Theo is such a young puppy that he hasn't learned many commands so he'll need a person or family to commit to the training necessary for Theo to become his best self! He's very smart and attentive so training should go well! Someone with training experience or willing to take him to a professional (once he's fully vaccinated) is ideal! Continued crate training to keep him safe will be the best, but no longer than 3 hours due to his age.
Theo wants a person or family that understands puppies and their needs or even first timers who are willing to learn how to raise a puppy and who are ready to put in the time. ***Theo is available through our Pending Adoption Welfare Status (PAWS) program which places puppies in their forever homes to start the bonding process prior to completing the adoption. Adopters MUST be approved by SOLR for our PAWS program to adopt a PAWS puppy. If approved, adopters must abide by the PAWS program agreement including spay/neuter and vaccine requirements which are all paid for by SOLR.
