Hey there, I'm Hugo, also known as Zuko, a name inspired by the charming Danny Zuko from Grease. At just six months old, I'm a black lab weighing 55 lbs, with big paws hinting at my future size. My foster family is already impressed with my unique blend of handsome looks and cool personality, and they're certain my new family will be too.
I get along great with both the T-Birds and the Pink Ladies (labs) in the home and enjoy running around the yard with them. I'm fast as greased lightning too! I have this funny little stance where I stand quiet, my tail points straight out, and I patiently watch my fur brothers and sisters. Then, when they least expect it, I pounce and surprise them! My foster family can't get enough of my silly antics. Once playtime ends, I find a place to chill and rest for hours. I've mastered the doggy door and stairs. I go into my kennel nicely and remain quiet while my family runs errands. I'm a puppy learning to walk on a leash. I have recently discovered the pool, and I love playing on the top step with my tennis ball. I watch the other dogs jump in, and I think someday, I'll master that, too!
When it's time for bed, I hop up with the other dogs and settle in for the night. But, once the sun is up, I like to greet every human and dog, have my breakfast, and play. My favorite toys are tennis balls and Nylabones. But, like I said, once playtime is over, I like to find a spot on the floor and relax.
One thing you should know about me is that I'm a total lovebug. I adore my humans and show it with a wagging tail and a gentle lean for cuddles. I thrive on human interaction and love being the center of attention. Are you ready to be hopelessly devoted to me?
