Penny is a beautiful 15-month-old chocolate lab mix. She is 50lbs, so a smaller girl, but comes with a big personality. She came to SOLR when her owner became unable to care for her due to health reasons. Penny is very playful and rambunctious; she loves to play with toys and tennis balls. She really loves water and enjoys swimming or just jumping around with the hose. She has lived with other dogs, cats, and older kids. She is house-trained, doggy-door, and crate trained. She is a smart girl and is eager to learn and has learned some basic commands like sit, stay, lay down, and shake paw. She is a sweet, affectionate girl who loves to be with her people. Penny enjoys lying on your lap and being with you on your bed if allowed. She enjoys going to dog parks, running around, and playing with other dogs. She is looking for an active family who can take her for regular walks and play fetch; having a pool to swim in or regular water play would be a bonus of course.
