Meet Moose –Moose (6) is a handsome 3-yr-old male white Lab with the kindest eyes and a big heart for his people. He loves being close to his people and will sweetly paw at you or rest his head in your lap when he’s asking for affection. Snuggles are one of his favorite things. He's also known for making the cutest little grunts and snorts-his signature Moose sound!
Moose enjoys his daily walks, has short bouts of play with a tug toy, ball, or chew toy, and then happily settles in for lounging and naps. He is happiest hanging out by your side but is also content relaxing or chewing toys on his own. He enjoys the companionship of another friendly dog but also will be content as an only dog with opportunities to socialize. He is not a match for a cat though- he thinks they are for chasing. Moose is potty-trained and a dog-door champ. He welcomes his crate when you must leave the house. Moose sleeps soundly on his dog bed next to you or would love to snuggle in for bedtime with you. He rides easily in the car. This lovable lab is still learning some house manners and is showing great progress in understanding what items are his. He will do best with a family willing to help him practice positive “trade” skills and continue building his confidence. Moose walks nicely on a leash. He is a curious and strong boy at 62 lbs. and will be grateful for continued support in enjoying walks to his fullest.
Moose is a true companion, family lab who loves being close and is eager to please. Moose will thrive in a home with teens and older where he can soak up affection, companionship, enjoy a cozy routine, and continue building his confidence.
