Mia is a beautiful, lovable, sweet, gentle 4-year-old yellow lab. She came to SOLR very overweight and has already lost 25 lbs. She is currently at 93 lbs and will need a family that will help her continue her health journey. She loves to go for walks and she walks great on leash. She is also learning how to be a dog in other ways like exploring and sniffing on walks. She is very friendly with other dogs and most humans; however, she would do best in one person quiet home. Mia does not like cats, but she is amazing with kids of all ages and would equally thrive as an only dog or with other dog siblings. Mia sleeps quietly in bed all night long in her foster’s room. She is a Velcro lab that likes to be near humans and loves belly rubs. Mia is curious and very food driven so she will sit in the kitchen while her family is cooking. She does fine in the car, although it’s not her favorite activity. She is crate trained and can be trusted alone as she will lay down by the door waiting for her humans to return. She is house trained but has not had the opportunity to try out a doggy door. She is smart girl and learns quickly. Is She the dog for you?
