Merryn is a 5 month old chocolate female mix weighing 54 pounds. She is a Labrador and poodle mix who looks like a short-hair doodle and is as cute as can be. Merryn is an inquisitive and smart girl. She quite mellow for a puppy. Previously, she was outside most of the time. Since she has been with her foster, Merryn uses the doggie door and she rarely has accidents in the house. She is crate trained and sleeps well in her crate through the night. Merryn is a young pup who enjoys her treats. This is helpful as she continues to learn basic commands. She enjoys walks and will benefit from continued leash training. She also shows signs of loving water..
Merryn is a happy and affectionate girl who is enjoying being inside with her humans. She can be a little shy at first and warms up quickly. She has done well with the other dog in the foster home and does love to play with other dogs. She has not been tested with cats. She would thrive in a home where her family will continue with her basic training and give her the exercise and attention she needs. Merryn would love another doggy companion as she has always been with her sister (Melody) and may be lonely without another dog in the home.
