Meet Maxine!
Maxine is a gorgeous, petite (~45 lbs) 1.5-year-old yellow Labrador with a sunshine personality and a tail that never seems to stop wagging. She’s full of happy Lab energy, loves people, and is always up for whatever fun comes next!
She walks nicely on leash and thinks other dogs are the best—playmates welcome! Maxine is also doing great with crate training. She sleeps soundly in her crate at night and can relax there during short daytime breaks. As a young Lab, she’s still figuring out the best ways to use her energy, and a little structure goes a long way in helping her shine.
Maxine is smart, eager, and a big fan of positive reinforcement. She’s already learning sit, come, and stay, and her foster family is helping her master potty training! She’s friendly, affectionate, and does well with kids and dogs. Maxine hasn’t been cat (or small dog) tested.
With her bouncy, fun-loving Lab personality, Maxine would be happiest in an active home that enjoys walks, playtime, and continuing her training. A family with older kids or experience with energetic Labs would be a great fit. Most of all, Maxine is looking for a home where she can be included, loved, and kept busy in all the best ways.
