My name is Max 13 and I am a stunning 1-year old yellow Labrador Retriever. Right now, I weigh about 48 pounds, but I still have lots more weight to gain since coming into the rescue. I have had a bit of a rough start before coming into my foster home, but I have since grown to become a strong, handsome pup, with tons of love to give.
I have learned so much in my foster home, my favorite being how to SWIM! I am crate trained, potty trained, and I am just starting to work on basic commands. I LOVE food and am very treat motivated, so I hope you will be patient with me as I am ready and willing to learn and become the perfect young gentleman. I have learned to play with 2 human siblings, 2 resident dogs, and 2 other foster puppies. I have not met a pet or person I haven’t loved.
I love to chew on chew toys, toys with squeakers and, in typical lab fashion, fetch tennis balls! When I am not playing, I can be found cooling off on the tile, getting belly rubs and scratches from my fosters, or taking a long nap. I am such a fun and goofy pup and I cannot wait to find my forever family.
