Meet Mason 5! This gentle giant weighs in at 101 pounds, with soulful brown eyes and an easygoing, affectionate personality. At 4 years old, this handsome chocolate Lab wants nothing more than to be a beloved member of a family.
Mason is eager to please and a quick study. He already knows sit, stay, down, and come, and he’s well on his way to mastering a solid down–stay. He’d love a person who enjoys training as much as he does—he thrives on human interaction and the mental stimulation that comes with learning new things.
He’s both potty trained and crate trained, happily eating his meals in his kennel and sleeping through the night without a peep. He hasn’t used a doggie door yet, but with his smarts and willingness to learn, he’d pick it up in no time.
On leash, Mason is a dream. He enjoys his daily neighborhood walks and, after a bit of initial excitement, settles beautifully into your pace. He’s a true gentleman when meeting new people and other dogs. (He hasn’t been cat tested.)
Social and affectionate, Mason would thrive in a home with another dog or with someone who is home often. He’d be happiest with an active family who will help him continue becoming the best boy he can be. And after a full day of fun, he’s all about couch cuddles—possibly even in your lap—while you watch football or a movie.
