Lute is a 4-year old, yellow boy who came to SOLR when his family lost their home. He is 67 pounds of sweetness. Lute is quite calm and quiet. He loves to be around his people and does well with other dogs. He has lived with cats in his previous home. While he has lived with kids of all ages we think he would be best with older children.
Lute is house-trained, knows the doggy door, sit, shake and lay down. He would love to learn even more tricks as he is a smart boy. As with most labs, he loves water and chasing after tennis balls. He does well in car rides. He enjoys his walks and would benefit from continued leash training
Lute does have Valley Fever and will need to continue treatment which is a daily medication. He has responded well to treatment, he is not limping and has gained much needed weight.
He is an incredibly loving and affectionate pup who is happy to lay next to you on the sofa or snuggle up with you in bed (if you let him). He is looking for home where he will get the love and attention he craves and gets to be part of a family.
