Lorelei is a gorgeous 70-lb. chocolate Lab, about 2 years old. She is blossoming into a loving, playful companion. She adores people, belly rubs, cuddling, and happily following her humans from room to room. Her favorite toy is a squeaky ball--even after the squeaker stops working!
Lorelei has that fun, puppy-like energy. She’s mastered “sit,” and is learning “down” and "leave-it." Her food motivation makes her a great candidate for further training. She enjoys playing with her foster brother and could thrive either as an only dog or with a calm, confident canine friend.
Because of her size and enthusiasm, Lorelei would do best with older kids. She’s too interested in cats, so she'd enjoy a cat-free hom. She gets a bit excited on leash at times, but she's eager to become her best self. She has become more confident with the crate, so continued positive reinforcement will help her thrive.
This sweet, resilient girl has so much love to give. She even greets her humans with a whole body wiggle to go with her happily wagging tail! She’ll make a wonderful addition to the right home.
