Kersh is a sweet and affectionate boy who just really wants your love and attention. He loves to shadow and will happily follow along wherever you go just to be near you. He is very protective and will definitely need some time to understand a new environment. Kersh would do best with a family that has another dog so that he can learn the ropes of the household but wouldn't mind being the only dog in the house. (more attention for him) He understands simple commands, sit, shake, lay down but is also learning "bang" to roll over and play dead as well as giving high fives while sitting pretty. He is not food/treat aggressive but is highly food motivated. He is working on walking on a leash, there is some slight pulling, but I am chalking that up to him being excited to walk. He does have separation anxiety and is slightly destructive when left alone. We would not recommend leaving him alone for extended periods of time. (For now) We would also not recommend crating him. He thrashes around and is NOT cooperative inside it. He has a slight scuff on his nose from being crated the 2nd time. It is healing as it was not an open wound.
