Ken is a beautiful one-year-old, 68 lb Labrador mix with a white star on his chest. This sweet, playful boy is crate-trained, house-trained, loves people, likes other dogs, loves belly rubs, good with children 6+, seems to tolerate cats, and enjoys sitting on your lap or laying at your feet. Ken likes to watch TV and will often bark at something on the screen. He is bonded with Barbie and needs to be adopted together. Ken and Barbie love to lay around your home office and keep you company.
Ken has good focus for a young dog and is practicing his leash manners. He knows the following commands: sit, leave it, look, wait at the door. He really wants to please and learns quickly. Ken likes to carry things around -- a shoe or dish towel -- but doesn’t chew or destroy them. He barks when he hears strange noises outside but will settle down easily. He also loves to howl along with the neighborhood fire truck when it runs it’s siren, but will settle down after it’s gone.
Ken and Barbie are looking for an active family with a large yard to play in together. They are affectionate, loving dogs and certain to fill your life with joy.
