Jasper is a 9 year old Chocolate Lab weighing 113 lbs that was suddenly without a place to call home after his owner went into hospice care. Jasper and his brother Shipley, a bonded pair, were taken to the Humane Society as no family was available to take them. Fortunately, SOLR was able to take them in and get them into a foster home. Both boys came to us severely overweight and are on a weight loss and exercise program at their foster home. Jasper has already lost 13 lbs! Jasper is a sweet boy that loves people, and likes other dogs with a proper introduction. He gets along well with the two cats and the senior dog in his foster home.
