Iris is a charming 5-month-old, 40 lb female and lovable pup. She will be an excellent companion to any family and plays with other dogs by engaging in games of keep away, wrestling, and tug of war. Iris has yet to interact with cats, and we are unsure of how she would engage. However, she steals the hearts of anyone who meets her! Her soft coat and soulful eyes make her radiate affection. As she navigates puppyhood, her bundle of enthusiasm is expressed by running, digging, and chewing her toys and treats. She is sure to bring laughter and joy into any home. Despite her youthful appearance, she is a quick learner and has already learned to sit, lay down, and stay on command. She is highly motivated by treats, praise, toys, and affection! Iris has adapted to a dog door and, after a few weeks of training, is now potty trained to go outside. She sleeps in the crate during her naps in the day and at night. She may get a little sad when left alone but can quickly relax and fall asleep. Iris is a youthful soul with boundless energy when playful yet can be relaxed. She is an excellent cuddly companion when taking her naps.
