Meet Holden! He is a calm, mellow, approximately 8-year-old chocolate lab mix who weighs about 70 lbs. Holden has many of the common lab characteristics: a good eater and doesn’t food guard, drinks like a lab so plan for some water around his dish, loves his ears scratched and belly rubs, to name a few. Holden was very shy when he first arrived but is now trusting and enjoying living indoors. He is most active and playful in the morning. Holden looks forward to his morning walks and then just lays around for the rest of the day, most often where his people are or within sight. An extra afternoon walk is fine too now that it is cooler. Holden needs a calm home with or without another calm canine companion.
