This 5 yr old, ~60 lb girl is very affectionate and very nurturing. You can tell she’s had a few litters by the way she interacts with the foster home’s puppies. She will need a home with another dog, preferably female and younger so she can continue her role as mama. She is dog door trained, sleeps great in her crate at night and when you have to leave the house. Goldie 3 rides well in a car but doesn’t love it - she just lays down and pants and stays in one spot. She is working on gaining confidence in public situations as she lived her life in a 10’x10’ kennel used for breeding primarily. She is OK on a leash but needs some more work as she continues to learn what this new retired life is all about! She is a mostly calm dog, preferring to rest next to you on the couch or by your feet but she can be active when you want or need her to be. Goldie 3 is not cat tested. She is good with young children as she is super gentle and all dogs (she lives with 9 foster siblings). Ultimately, Goldie 3 needs a home where she can receive her share of love and affection and where she can have another dog to play with.
