Meet Gia (2), a 4-year-old, 73-pound bundle of love and energy, eagerly waiting for her perfect forever home! This sweet, friendly girl loves to play with other dogs and thrives in the company of a canine buddy, but hasn't been tested around cats. Gia’s ideal home would include another playful dog to be her friend, ensuring she always has a companion for fun and games.
Gia adores children, though her enthusiastic greetings can be a little overwhelming for smaller kids. She’s happiest playing in the yard, where she’s a fetching pro and is working hard on learning to catch a frisbee. Gia also loves going on walks, and her forever family will need to help her keep up her leash training since she’s quite strong.
Due to a skin allergy, Gia requires a diet free of chicken, including treats, to keep her comfortable and healthy. She’s crate-trained and sleeps peacefully through the night. Known for her love of squeaky, squishy toys, she will happily empty the whole toy box to find her favorites! With her gentle heart, playful spirit, and love for other dogs, Gia is ready to bring joy and endless tail wags to a forever home where she’ll have both a family and a canine friend.
