She is a 9-month-old, 66-pound sweetheart of a black lab who takes a bit to warm up to new people, but once she trusts her humans, she is fiercely loyal and has endless love to give. Blackie loves to play with her doggie friends. She lives up to her retriever genes when it comes to chasing tennis balls, and she's the most polite work-from-home companion. She is house and dog door trained. Blackie is crate trained, sleeping peacefully in the crate all night. She is working on leash training and is starting to master the "sit" and "stay" commands. Like any puppy, she could benefit from continued training which should be easy since she loves her treats.
