Elsa 4 is a sweet, funny girl who has become a seamless addition to her foster home in a short time.
She is smart, trainable, loving, and she loves attention from her humans. She is playful, loves all types of toys, and can be seen carrying a toy around with her at any given time. She is very easy to redirect by handing her a toy; she’ll take it every time. Elsa is potty trained, crate trained, and is learning to walk beautifully on the leash. She will snuggle up to you on the couch when you’re watching TV or reading, if you let her.
Elsa knows sit and is working on other basic commands, and she seems to really enjoy her time being trained. She will do best with humans who are willing to keep working on training with her as any one-year-old puppy would. In one day, Elsa learned to potty outside on command!
She is not destructive, not even to her toys, but at her age, she has not been left alone with free rein. Elsa goes into her crate with no complaint right along with the resident dogs. She is a great eater, is food motivated, and loves fruits and vegetables selected by her foster mom.
She loves to play with the resident dogs and would do great with another playful pup or two, her size or bigger; but she would also be great as an only dog with an active owner. We think Elsa will be a great walking and hiking companion. She is not cat tested.
Elsa is good with kids, older kids would be ideal as her puppy energy might be a bit too much for the little ones. If you would like to meet Elsa, please call her foster
