Meet Eleanore, a sweet-as-can-be 9 week old Lab mix puppy who weighs about 10 lbs. Eleanore was found in the desert outside of Tucson with her mom, Minka, and littermates. Eleanore is fairly mellow for a puppy, loves to follow her people around, and is content to nap near your feet. During playtime she enjoys shaking stuffed toys, short games of fetch, and playing with her mixed breed foster sister. She is a smart girl who is catching on quickly to commands like sit and come (her tiny sits are the cutest!). During the night, Eleanore sleeps well in a kennel and is content to nap there for short bits during the day. She is working on house training and does best when kept on a schedule with frequent trips outside. Eleanore has figured out how to come in through a dog door on her own and may do well with one as she gets bigger. Eleanore has lived with a larger dog, cats, and kids in her foster home and has done exceptionally well with all of them. If you are looking to add a puppy to your pack, with her sweet demeanor and calm disposition, this loving and loyal girl will make a great addition to your family.
Eleanore is available through our PAWS program which places puppies in their forever homes to start the bonding process prior to completing the adoption. Adopters must abide by the PAWS program agreement including spay/neuter and vaccine requirements which are all paid for by SOLR.
