Ellie is so much fun! She is a beautiful pure bred yellow Lab who was born in January 2023. She weighs about 60 pounds and wants to be with her people as much as possible. She is super curious, high energy and would be best in an active family. Ellie loves to run, play in the backyard and go for walks/runs, and there’s a good chance she will be a great camping and hiking companion. She is always ready for a new adventure. She enjoys toys and helping her foster mom in the garden...she has learned how to pick cherry tomatoes. Ellie's favorite activity is SWIMMING! She loves to start her day with chasing the ball in the pool and looks forward to more swim time in the evening. She will play for hours if you let her, but is also happy with a quick 15 minutes. She has been in formal training so she can learn rules and structure. She is one of the smartest fosters we've ever had and is easy to train because she wants to please her humans. Ellie gets along with other dogs out in the community, but needs to be the queen of the household as an only dog. She will be your sidekick at all times and wants your full attention. She is house trained, crate trained and does well on a leash. Ellie has the goofiest personality and gives the sweetest little kisses. She will be the perfect addition to a patient and active family.
