Daisy 11 is an 8 year old chocolate girl who came to SOLR when her owner could no longer care for her. She is a sweet, intelligent girl who loves to be with her people. At 105 lbs, she would enjoy a home where she can continue with a healthy lifestyle and lose a few more pounds.
Although she has lived with another dog, she would do great as an only dog as she loves to get all the attention. She has lived with kids before and has also lived with cats. She is house trained, uses the doggy door at her foster home, and is completely trustworthy in the home when left alone. She has been trained and knows sit, stay, come, and leave it. Her previous owner confirmed she likes water. She is good on a leash and in the car.
She loves to play still so don’t let her age deter you if you are looking for a playful, happy dog who enjoys going wherever you are. She particularly likes squeaky plush toys. She is very much a Velcro dog who wants to follow you everywhere. Daisy is a friendly and social dog who just loves getting attention from everyone. She is gentle and affectionate and is calm and mellow when not playing fetch. This girl was well loved in her previous home and is just looking for a new couch to land on. She truly is a sweetheart and is looking a for family to live out her golden years with.
