Meet our grand Canyon! As his name suggests, this guy is so spectacular that he should be added as the 8th Wonder of the World! Canyon is a handsome 1.5 year old chocolate Labrador retriever mix. He is currently 85 pounds and has a long, lean frame.
Canyon has the most expressive eyes which he uses to capture your heart effortlessly. In addition, he is masterful at utilizing the puppy dog snuggle. He gently curls up next to you and places his head on your lap gazing deep into your soul. It’s a true challenge to not love this guy endlessly. Canyon is an energetic young pup who loves to learn new things. He enjoys meeting new people and other dog friends. Canyon’s favorite activities include: walks, inventorying the toys in the toy box, more walks, wrestling or playing chase with his foster siblings, even more walks, and ensuring you have company and are safe in the house as you move from room to room throughout the day. He is house trained and absolutely loves car rides.
We are currently working on crate training and adding several basic commands. He has quickly mastered sit, wait, leave it, off, and uh-uh (no). Canyon would continue to benefit from consistent training. We feel this sweet guy would be happiest in an active home with people around throughout the day to love on him and to share endless adventures with.
