Please meet Boots; he’s an 11month old pure bred yellow lab weighing in at approximately 75 lbs. Boots is house trained, working on doggie door training, doesn’t chew what’s not his, and sleeps through the night in his crate. His prior owners shared that he is trustworthy in the house when not crated. He is said to be good with cats and kids but may be too big of a puppy for small kids, as he sometimes jumps excitedly.
Boots rides very well in the car and knows some basic commands. He listens well and learns quickly so he is eager to learn more! Boots is practicing his leash walking, getting better each day! With some patience and practice, Boots will master leash walking! At his foster's house, he plays on the baja step of the pool, but hasn’t found the confidence yet to do that magical thing called swimming. You can see that Boots really wants to figure out just how his foster sister glides through the water!
