Hi, I’m Bonnie (4) a 7 year old, 69 pound purebred female Golden Retriever. I was raised outdoors in my previous life and, let me tell you, being indoors is WAY better! As I start my retirement indoors, I’ve already learned to use the doggy door, sleep all night on a comfy bed, enjoy meals served to me twice a day, and I’ve even started picking up a toy or two.
I love all the attention from my foster family and really enjoy playing with their 9 year old grandson and have become very attached to my foster dad, joining him in his office all day long. In my new forever home I MUST HAVE A DOG DOOR. I love being indoors but I also enjoy the independence to go outside when I need. Having grown up outdoors for the majority of my life there are some scary sounds that worry me some but a soft spot to lay and some head rubs sure do reassure me. I hope my new family will give me the time and grace to learn how great living with a loving family can be.
I haven’t been cat tested, but I get along great with all my canine brothers and sisters and I would love a home with a family that’s ready and willing to give me the retirement life I’ve earned! If you think that could be your family text my foster mom.
