Betty White a.k.a. Winnie is a beautiful 50 lb, 1-year old Lab mix with a sweet personality. While Winnie enjoys spending time with other dogs and people, you'll also find her laying outside by herself or exploring the yard. Winnie is still young and will find loose items to chew if you don't provide her with proper chew toys and otherwise puppy proof her home. That said, with puppy proofing, Winnie is a rockstar when left home alone. She is crate trained but would rather have free roam. She is also dog door trained and housebroken. Winnie is respectful in her play with other dogs. She has done well with a couple slow introductions to cats. Winnie would do fine in a home with children, although super young children are not ideal due to Winnie's young dog behaviors. Winnie knows sit and even sits and waits before each meal, only beginning to eat once given the release command. She is working on down and her leash skills. Winnie has gotten in the pool a couple times with the help of her fosters. She is not a willing participant in swim parties, but she is not scared. Perhaps with time, she could learn to love the pool. For her age, Winnie is relatively easygoing and well behaved. She will make an excellent addition to one lucky family, so call her fosters today!
