Sugar Bear aka "Bear 5" is a charming 3 year old male Chocolate lab mix. He has a smaller build, weighing only 68 lbs. He was owner surrendered directly to a foster home. He is very well adjusted in the foster home. Bear is house broken and can be trusted to sleep peacefully through the night without kenneling. As you can see in his photos, that his durable chew ball is always in his sight. Bear loves fetch or playing ball by himself. He is learning the "leave it" and "drop" commands. He gets along great with his super senior foster sibling. Given his friendly personality and the fact that he got along well with the several small female dogs in his previous home, he would welcome another friend to play with. He is not cat tested but has a very good disposition that is not aggressive or prey oriented. He is a quiet dog with only one "woof" alerting the household to the pool tech or unusual noises. We are working on leash training and sit. He is naturally an awesome dog and looking for a family that will help him become the best he can be.
