Have you ever wanted to own a brown bear? How about a chunk of chocolate lab that LOOKS like a brown bear? Well, then meet 6 year old Arthur! If Arthur could talk, it would sound remarkably like ‘Doug’ from the Pixar movie ‘Up’: “I have just met you, and I love you!” This guy loves all people (and also, all food). Tipping the scales at an even 100 lbs, Arthur is no small boy. Don’t let that fool you, he’s got puppy dog eyes for days and a million pounds of love!
Arthur is 6 years old, is 100% house trained, uses a dog door, feeds on schedule easily, and is just an easy going dog around the house. He is everyone’s friend, including any stranger, and gets along very well with the dogs in his foster home! He doesn't have a mean bone in his body. Arthur is a classic ‘velcro dog’, following his foster family room to room wherever they go. He likes water and would gladly jump in the shower with you! He loves toys, running around the yard, and just generally being wherever his people are! In classic lab fashion, he likes food….A LOT. He does have a desire to counter surf every so often, but he has such a gentle personality, that is easily corrected and trained.
With his current weight, he does need a family that is willing to commit to exercise with him, and a healthy lifestyle. That said, he is calm by nature, and doesn’t seem to need a high level of activity. This guy is going to be a GREAT buddy for his future family!
