Hi! I’m Amicus, an 8 year old, 76 pound purebred male Black Labrador Retriever. Age is just a number as I'm very active for my years. One could say I'm a Velcro Lab-I enjoy following you everywhere. I know the commands “Sit”, “Down”, “Come”, “Drop it. I’m house trained without a doggie door and go into my crate at bedtime with some encouragement. I eat and drink like a typical Lab (messy and always on the hunt for more) and am improving my table manners. I walk well on a leash and ride well in the car.
I love all people, especially if they are giving me attention! I will even roll for a belly rub or two when I am laying down. I visited a pool but didn’t do anything other than taste test it. I enjoy low to medium energy dogs. The resident cat and I have gotten along-I even play with him! I’ve played with kids over 5 and they love petting my super soft fur. I am not a big barker and am a pretty active dog for almost 8 years old. I am looking for home where I will get love and attention and be a big part of your family.
