HI! My name is Trudy and I'm a 9 month old female AKC black lab. I'm on the smaller side, weighing in around 42 pounds, but I have more than enough love to make up for my small size! I love everyone and get along well with my older foster sister well but I don't need another dog in the house to be happy - because I really love people! I do well with the 6 year old human who helps take care of me, but I might have too much energy for a younger child. I follow my foster mom wherever she goes but I also really like guys so I'd be happy with a single mom or dad or a whole family, as long as you'll give me lots of cuddles. I haven't had a lot of training, but I know "no" and "come" and quickly learned "sit" with my foster mom. I love food and treats, so if you give me those I will learn anything! I will need someone to help me learn even more new things, like how to walk on a leash and ride in the car. My foster mom says I am extremely sweet, I don't chew on things I am not supposed to, and I am housetrained as long as I get to go outside regularly. I have some interest in toys but if I could spend all day near you and evenings snuggling with you, that would be a dream! Will you be my new best friend?
