Opal is a 5-year-old, 65-lb Labrador Retriever with a sweet, gentle, and mellow personality. She loves being close to her people and will happily be your loyal little shadow. Opal gets along well with other dogs and would enjoy a gentle dog companion.
She enjoys daily walks and does well on leash but will benefit from continued consistency and guidance to help her maintain her good walking manners. She loves splashing in her kiddie pool and playing with squeaky toys - though she’s very talented at removing the squeak! Opal is crate trained and sleeps quietly through the night.
Opal would do best in a home that can provide regular exercise, consistency and positive reinforcement. Due to her zest for life, she may not do best with those looking for a low energy dog.
