Hi, I’m Murphy (6), a 6-year-old, 102- lb handsome male Chocolate Lab. I love kids! I am dog door trained and can be trusted alone in the house. I love going on car rides and I jump right into the car. I am a great office companion for my foster dad, I like to lay on the rug near his desk. I have not been cat nor farm animal tested. I love some good chew toys but I don’t destroy them. I am learning some new commands while in foster and I caught on in one easy lesson. I will need a family that will continue to work with me on my learning journey. I walk ok on the leash, but I’m a big strong boy so I will need a little more training to make me an even better boy. I can be playful and active but I can also relax and cuddle with my humans.
Although I’m a big boy I’m very gentle with taking treats and I love to lay down and get my belly rubs in. I sleep all night on my bed.
I would love to have some kids to play with and would do well as an only dog or a canine sister in my forever home would be a bonus. If you think that your family could be a match, then text my foster mom right away because she says that any family that gets me is going to be so lucky because I am a very good boy.
