My name is Carter and I am a beautiful 1 year old yellow/beige mix. I was found living free range in the desert and SOLR stepped in to save me, making me an honorary Labrador! I weigh 40 pounds and have a few more pounds to gain. I am a calm, sweet boy who loves affection and wants nothing more than to snuggle with my foster humans. I am learning to play with my sister Thea and my resident dog sibling. To be honest, I am happiest with a paw on my foster mom’s leg getting ALL the love. I am learning and discovering new things every day, including all the joys of toys, treats, continuing love from humans, and how to be a happy dog. I have been learning many new things with my foster family, including crate training, working on lessons of “sit” and “stay”, and discovering that little humans are sweet and kind. I am eager to learn new things and I can’t wait to grow and have new adventures and experiences with my forever family!
