My name is Cricket and I am a loving, but shy, 2-year old, 50 pound buff and cream Labrador retriever with stunning eyes! I was rescued from Maricopa County Shelter and came to my fosters house very scared and shut down. I am happy to say, with a lot of time and patience, I have grown to be a sweet and lovable guy.
I love being with humans and other dogs! In fact, I would do best in a home with another dog who is confident, happy, and playful so I can have a friend and continue to learn and grow.
I am quite a lover and adore being around my foster humans. I have a bit of a hard time when they leave the house or when I am separated from them, but I know my forever family will continue to be patient as I have so much to learn and confidence to gain.
I am kennel trained and house trained.
I am having so much fun with my human foster brother (2-year old) and sister (8-year old). I love to swim! I also LOVE toys and in typical doggie fashion, I enjoy discovering and chewing on all the things! I am still learning to walk on a leash so I hope you will be patient with me so I can keep learning to be the best dog I can be.
