Goose (aka Goose the Moose) is a friendly almost 3 year old lab weighing 79 lbs. He is a happy, go lucky lab that just wants to be your best friend! Goose an active guy who loves his tennis balls, and will play fetch on the ground or in the pool for hours! Goose loves to swim and keeps an eye on his humans while they are in the water.
Goose has had some education and needs reminders for his manners. He is very good with sit and come, knows off and down. When walking on leash he needs a reminder at the beginning, then minds his manners the rest of the walk. He is kennel trained, and will sleep peacefully there at night. Once introduced, he does know dog doors as well. In typical lab fashion Goose LOVES his food, but a slow feeder bowl has been useful in pacing him.
Goose's favorite toy is his tennis ball. He also enjoys a good chew stick. Goose hasn't shown any inclination towards shoes or other forbidden items. Goose is great with other dogs. Goose is not cat friendly. The ideal home for Goose would be an active home with a person/family who loves to throw the ball and has a pool. He would be happy to have other dogs or kids older than 10 to play with him. Adopters should be knowledgeable on basic obedience training, or willing to take classes, to help remind Goose to be the best boy he can be.
