Since joining his foster family, this sweet-natured boy has shown incredible resilience, working hard to overcome heartworm and prepare for his forever family.
Nickel is a people-loving pup who never meets a stranger. He’s fantastic with children and other dogs, making him the perfect companion for any family dynamic. While he hasn’t been cat-tested, his mellow demeanor and lack of prey drive suggest he’d likely do well with feline friends as well.
He’s amazing on walks, soaking up the fresh air by your side, but his absolute favorite thing in the world is simply being with his people. Whether it’s lounging at home or heading out for an adventure, Nickel is happiest when surrounded by love. His foster family says the absolute cutest thing about him is the way he greets people. He gives a little welcoming howl occasionally that melts your heart. It’s his typical way of saying good morning.
