Looking for a sweet, loving, and social chocolate lab? Meet Toby, your future best friend! At 7 months old and weighing ~50 pounds (with a bit more growing to do), I’m a bundle of joy who’s already mastered commands like “sit,” “stay,” “off,” and “go to bed.” I’m also doggie door trained, crate trained and have impeccable manners at mealtime, patiently waiting for my food bowl to be set down. My love for food and treats makes training a breeze, and I’m eager to learn even more with my forever family!
As I mentioned, I am a social pup! I love playing chase, getting the zoomies and wrestling with my foster fur-siblings. My foster mom tells me that I’d do best in a home with another active dog to keep me entertained. I also love swimming, so if you have a pool, that’s a big plus! (And while I loooove other dogs, I'm not so fond of cats. Or maybe they are not fond of me? Either way, a cat free home is best for everyone!)
Back to the social topic…I’m great with people, especially kids. I have a gentle, sweet nature and adore cuddling with my human siblings. In fact, I once lived with a little girl, and we were best friends! I’m always eager to greet new people with a friendly hello and show off how I like to pull my toys out of the toy box—everyone thinks it’s adorable!
I’ve recently discovered my bark while playing with my foster siblings, and my foster mom says it’s the cutest deep bark coming from little Toby! That’s a bit about me. Now, I’m off to find a toy.
