As her name implies, Sugar is one super sweet pup, and she’s pretty darn cute, too! Sugar is a four month old Labrador retriever mix puppy currently weighing in around 10 pounds. She may be small, but her personality packs a punch! With lots of puppy energy, her new family will need to be ready to match her energy. After chasing her sister around the backyard at lightning speed, she loves to relax with her chew toys indoors and prefers to be near her humans. When she’s gets tired out, she is the best little cuddle bug! Sugar is a little young to have learned many commands yet, so like all three month old puppies, she will need someone who can commit to providing the training she’ll need to grow into her best self. Professional training for her would be ideal once she has completed all her required vaccines. While not 100% potty trained, when taken outside regularly it’s rare for Sugar to have accidents within her gated puppy area or when in her crate, which she sleeps in for most of the night. Sugar is very adventurous so continued crate training will be key to keeping her safe when no one is home. Ideally, she wouldn’t have to be in her crate more than 3 hours at time at this age. A great family for Sugar is one who has puppy experience or who is willing to learn what it takes to train her so she can be the best girl! If you can give her all the support and love she needs, she will return it right back ten-fold. This little girl can’t wait to jump into your arms on her adoption day! If this precious little sweet Sugar looks like your match, please contact her foster!
