Introducing Apple, a 3-month old, 10-pound ball of puppy energy who is sure to be the ‘Apple’ of your eye! She is named appropriately, as she is sweet like an apple, her light coloring looks like the inside of an apple and even her little toenails have a stripe of black and look like apple seeds! Apple loves to play with her foster sister and has been around the resident 5 year old lab and 7 year old human in her foster home. She’s had some family visitors as well and hasn’t met a person she doesn’t instantaneously love!
Apple has a lot of energy and is very adventurous outside. She loves to run and is very quick, so a game of chase is definitely up her alley. When done playing, however, she loves to cuddle up in her bed and nap the afternoon away. Because she’s still a puppy, Apple hasn’t learned any formal commands and will need time and attention to training to help her grow into the best behaved pup she can be - she’s up for the challenge as long as you are! She will need help finalizing her potty training, learning to walk on a leash (once all her vaccinations are complete and she can leave the yard), and all the fun things like sit, shake, fetch, etc! If you are ready to teach Apple the ropes and receive all the love she has in return, give her foster a call!
***Apple is available through our Pending Adoption Welfare Status (PAWS) program which places puppies in their forever homes to start the bonding process prior to completing the adoption. Adopters MUST be approved by SOLR for our PAWS program to adopt a PAWS puppy. If approved, adopters must abide by the PAWS program agreement including spay/neuter and vaccine requirements which are all paid for by SOLR.
