Are you searching for a wonderful cuddle buddy and hiking partner? Madison is your girl! At approximately 2 years old, she is potty trained and can be trusted to be left alone in the house. At only 50 pounds, this chocolate girl is on the smaller side which makes her a great dog size for just about any family. She is a joy to hike with, she rides great in the car, she has excellent leash manners and a quick recall. She is a big fan of natural water and the kiddie pool. Maddy is a people dog who wants to please you, and she loves cuddles, belly rubs and loves to give you hugs. She will sleep quietly next to your bed all night and will greet you with a happy tail when you wake up. She hasn’t met a stranger and is great with older kids (not tested with small kids). She just learned how to play with a ball and stuffed toys. Although she is good around all dogs she has met, she is somewhat shy around some dogs, and it takes a special dog to get her to play. That might change over time as she was generally a little timid of everything when entering the rescue and has come a long way during her first month in foster care.
