Rocket, rocket, in your pocket... Miss Rocket is the "in your pocket" type lab, she loves her people and just wants to be with them! This 1 year old girl is affectionate and cuddly and just 53 pounds, does well with adults, school aged kids, cats, and even chickens! Rocket has great leash skills, and loves going on walks with her foster home's resident dogs. She has been out to the desert and down to the river, as well as walks around the neighborhood, and does well with it all. Rides well in the car. Like many young labs, she can get a little excited, but responds well to verbal correction. She's smart and sensitive! She has not shown any signs of food, toy, or space aggression with other dogs, people, kids, even the cat. Tennis balls and chew toys are her favorites, she likes the water but not necessarily the pool - she prefers to swim in the river, and splash about in the play pool. Rocket crates easily, and has learned to use the doggy door at the foster's home. She does know what you mean if you ask if she needs to go "potty" (before she figured out the door). This girl could be an only dog, or share a home with other dogs and cats, she's fairly easy going. If you're looking for a sweet, loyal girl, Rocket can fill that need.
