Hi, my name is Blackie, I am a petite, sweet lovable black lab boy. I am very smart; I learned all the inside living rules in less than 2 days, and boy do I love being an inside dog now. I am very gentle and calm for a 3-year-old and I listen extremely well. I love living with 5 other dogs and 2 cats right now, but I am very flexible and go with the flow. I love pets and snuggles from adults and kids and do not jump on anyone. I have barked maybe 3-4 times in the last couple of weeks, I am just an amazing boy. My foster mom says I am a dream dog. At feeding time, I do a cute little bounce like Tigger but cute not crazy! I lived outside most of my life and I have really enjoyed sitting on the couch next to my foster mom and curling up in a ball next to her quietly all night. I will go in my kennel if needed but I am trusted alone, I just need something to do. I am just now learning the joys of chew bones and toys, this was new to me, but I think I like it! I still need to put on a few pounds as I am very thin, but I am slowly gaining and really enjoy food! I will sit and stay forever for a treat.
